The 2024 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) had the largest trade show floor ever with 621,350 square feet of exhibit space and 1,427 exhibitors. This year, IPPE has more than 31,000 poultry and egg, meat, and animal food industry attendees representing 130+ countries. Sponsored by the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, American Feed Industry Association and the Meat Institute, IPPE is the world’s largest annual poultry and egg, meat and animal food industry event of its kind.

The large trade show floor continues to be the central attraction. Numerous companies are showcasing their new products and services at IPPE, with all phases of the animal food, meat, and poultry and egg industries represented, from live production and processing to further processing and packaging.
What’s New From VAL-CO?
We showcased quite a few new products at the 2024 IPPE, including the Mach 57 Fan, The Eclipse Flush Mount Light Trap Kits, a flanged Turkey Bell Drinker, and the Narrow Loop Chain Feeder.
The MACH 57 is a 57″ exterior mount fan that generates higher windspeeds and fantastic performance. Internal components are made from corrosive-resistant materials and the fiberglass housing keeps the fan working for a long time. The common rough opening makes it great for retrofits.
The Eclipse Flush Mount Light Trap significantly reduces light infiltration with minimal performance loss. The light reduction panels are on hinges so it is easy to swing them open to access the fan to clean the shutter, grease bearings, and check belt tension.
The TurkeyMAX Bell Drinker provides a reservoir of fresh water for turkeys and is safe for them to use. The smooth rim helps prevent bruising on the breasts of the bird. The flanged version provides a lip to keep the floors drier.
The Narrow Loop Chain Feeder provides uniform feed distribution for male birds. The grill prevents males from eating from inside the loop, encouraging them to eat from the outside of the system so they can be easily inspected and evaluated. It’s 24″ wide, can send feed in both directions at the same time, and uses the same corners, chain, trough, and drive units as the hen feeders, so parts are easy to keep on hand.
